(at Elgin) 20th, and inst. 21st Sept. 1676; died 20th Sept. 1723. He marr. (1) a daugh. of Archibald Geddes of Essil, and had issue George and William Archibald, both clergymen in the Church of England; Jean (marr. 13th April 1714, William McWilliam, Wester Gauldwell, Boharm); Margery (marr. Craig), died Dec. 1764 : (2) Anna, daugh. of Alexander Gordon of Brigs, Garmouth, she survived him s.p.[Tombst.]"
