Helen married James GORDON Fiar of Craibstone, son of John GORDON of Craibstone, then of Tulloch and Margaret COUTTS.1 (James GORDON Fiar of Craibstone was born about 1602 and died before 19 July 1643 1.)

Exhibition. Helen Hay, widow of James Gordoun, sometime Fier of Crabstoun, and Captaine Robert Keithe of Hardslaikis, her husband v. John Gordoun, sometime of Crabstoun, then of Tulloche, and Christiane Forbes, his wife. The document sought for was a Contract or Back Bond, said to contain certain provisions in favor of the Pursuer and her first husband, the parties to it having been Mr. James Sandelands of Crabstoun, Commissary of Abd., the Defender John Gordoun, and the deceased James Gordoun. Sandelands and two Advocates in Aberdeen who were called, were assoilzicd, but decree passed against John Gordoun and his wife."
