"DAVID MILN, born 11th Nov. 1744, son of William M., min. of Kildrummy; educated at Marischal College, Aberdeen; M.A. (1765); licen. by Presb. of Alford 3rd May 1769; ord. to Dallas 7th July 1778; pres. by Francis, Earl of Moray, 6th Dec. 1792; trans, and adm. 27th June 1793; died 3rd Jan. 1807. He marr. 7th Jan. 1786, Janet (died at Elgin, 21st Dec. 1847), daugh. of Alexander Murray, min. of Duffus, and had issue-Jane (marr. George Innes, min. of Cullen; Elizabeth; Helen. Publication Account of the Parish of Dallas (Sinclair's Stat. Acc., iv.)."
