Note: House of Gordon notes Agnes as the daughter of Thomas Gordon of Grandholm. It is also stated there that Thomas married a woman called Elspet Grant. In fact her name, according to the baptism record was Elspet Gray and she was the mother of Agnes. ^{1 3 4}

Agnes married Reverend Mr Thomas FORBES Minister of Keig, son of William FORBES 6th of Corsindae and Katherine FRASER. (Reverend Mr Thomas FORBES Minister of Keig was born about 1612 and died in 1665 ².)
