John Quigley was recorded by the 1841 census living in Wright Street, Liverpool, England with his father and siblings. He was recorded as 7 years old and had been born in Scotland.

The 1851 census recorded John Tweedle living at 88 1/2 Burlington Street, Liverpool, England. He was a 17 year old man, born in Scotland, who worked as an apprentice joiner.

In 1853 John Tweedley was a witness at the marriage of James Tweedley and Jane Johnston. It was probably this man.

John Tweedley was recorded by the 1861 census as head of a small household at 18 Iliad Street, Liverpool, comprising himself, his wife Hannah, and their two small children. John was recorded as 27 years of age and born in Scotland. He was a shipwright. 2 3 6 10

John Tweedley was a bachelor, of full age, and was a shipwright by trade. He resided in Menai Street, Liverpool.

Hannah Goodman lived in Rose Place, Liverpool. She was a single woman and of full age.

John Tweedley signed his name and Hannah Goodman made her X mark. 1
