Alexander married Amelia MURRAY, daughter of David MURRAY 3rd Lord Balvaird, 5th Viscount of Stormont and Lord Scone and Marjory SCOTT, 22 and 28 April 1720(contract).1 (Amelia MURRAY was born about 1698, died on 18 February 1774 1 and was buried on 23 February 1774 in Chapel Royal of Holyroodhouse, Edinburgh, Scotland 1.)


  Marriage Notes:

"Amelia (Murray), married (contract dated 22 and 28 April 1720), to Sir Alexander Lindsay of Evelick, Baronet. She survived her husband, dying 18, was buried 23, February 1774, in the Chapel Royal of Holyroodhouse, leaving issue."
