This author does not mention either Katherine Straiton or Isabel Symmer, both mentioned in Fasti Ecclesiae, though, to be fair, Fasti is, at times, somewhat confused with regard to the Strachans, and, on occasion, erroneous. ¹

Margaret next married John STRACHAN, son of Reverend Mr John STRACHAN minister of Kincardine O'Neil parish, Tutor of Thornton and Catherine STRATON. (John STRACHAN was born about 1596 and died after 18 April 1634 ¹.)
