William married Lillias GORDON, daughter of George GORDON of Carnousie and Cranoch and Jean FORBES.1 (Lillias GORDON was baptised on 3 July 1710 in Forglen parish, Banffshire, Scotland,2 died in 1757 1 and was buried in 1757 in Banff churchyard, Banffshire, Scotland 1.)


  Marriage Notes:

"Sir William Gordon, sixth Baronet, who died at Lesmoir, Thursday September 13, 1750 (Aberdeen Journal) married Lillias (born 1710), daughter of George Gordon of Carnousie. They had no issue. She died 1757. She was buried at Banff (Cramond's Annals of Banff, ii., 292)."
