WHICH THOMAS?

Some sources place this Thomas Forbes as being descended from the Corsindae Forbes and the fourth son of Kinmuck's second marriage, that is of William Forbes and Bessie Lawson, yet he is not mentioned as such by Lumsden. He names the four sons as George, Henry, Robert, and William.

Thomas married Nanse CARGILL, daughter of CARGILL and Unknown, on 13 December 1580 in Saint Nicholas parish, Aberdeen, Scotland.¹ (Nanse CARGILL was born about 1560.)
