Elizabeth married Patrick McGUNNIGAL, son of James McGUNNIGAL and Ellen DONNELLY, on 21 September 1927 in St Margaret's RC Church, Airdrie, Lanarkshire, Scotland. (Patrick McGUNNIGAL was born in 1901 in Old Monkland (Wester District), Lanarkshire, Scotland 3 and died in 1977 in Airdrie, Lanarkshire, Scotland 1.)

The couple were married by Fr Edward Bradley. The witnesses were James McGunnigal of 72 Lauchope Street, Chapelhall and Annie Duffin of 114 George Street Paisley.
