The birth certificate for Mary Rogan recorded that her father, George Rogan, was the informant of her birth. He gave notice of his daughter's birth before R. Barr, registrar, at Baillieston on 2 November 1906. He also gave the date and place of his marriage to Mary's mother as 6 June 1905 at Holytown. George was recorded as being a furnaceman.
