CONWAY, Ann ¹

Ann married Francis HARKIN, son of John HARKIN and Jane McKILLOP, on 18 January 1869 in Bathgate, West Lothian, Scotland.¹ (Francis HARKIN was born on 9 March 1846 in Bothwell parish, Lanarkshire, Scotland ^{1 2 3} and was baptised on 22 March 1846 in St Margaret's RC parish, Airdrie, Lanarkshire, Scotland ³.)

  Marriage Notes:

The marriage was celebrated after banns according to the rites and forms of the Roman Catholic Church. Father John Grogan was the Catholic Clergyman who married the couple. John Harkin and Cathrin Conway were the witnesses.

Francis was an unmarried man aged 22 years. He worked as an iron miner and resided at Greenburn, Whitburn.

Ann Conway was also single, and was an agricultural labourer. She was 20 years old and lived at Crofthead in Whitburn. Her father, Peter, was deceased.

The marriage was registered at Bathgate on 20 January 1869, David Rankine being the registrar. ²
