SUMMERS, Ann
Cause of her death was epilepsy over 1 year. Another name for Ann was SUMMERS, Annie.4 General Notes: Ann Summers was recorded by the 1861 census as the elder of the two daughters of her mother, named there 'Ann Summers' but actually 'Agnes'. Ann Summers, daughter, lived with her mother, her sister Alice, and two female lodgers in a small dwelling on Main Street in the village of Barrhead in Renfrewshire. She was unmarried and was 20 years of age. She worked as a muslin bleacher and had been born in Ireland. Medical Notes: John McKinlay, physician and surgeon, certified the cause of death. |
