On 6 November 1692 "David Aedie of New-wark late Bailie" was one of the godfathers at the baptism of Anna Strachan in St Nicholas parish Aberdeen. Anna was the daughter of "Alexander Strachan of Clerk-Seat Late Dean of Gild, and Elisabeth Maitland his Spouse". 2


David married Katherine SKENE, daughter of David SKENE and Margaret CHALMERS, on 24 April 1671 in Saint Nicholas parish, Aberdeen, Scotland. (Katherine SKENE was born on 3 October 1646.)
