  General Notes:

Hugh Quinn was the informant of his wife's death before the registrar, WIlliam Campbell, at Paisley on 2 November 1929. In the certificate his occupation was recorded as cloth finisher.

When Hugh Quinn died in 1932 he was recorded as a "Bleachfield Labourer Widower of Annie Feeley". he was 69 years old and his usual address was 5 Stevenson Street Paisley. Both of his parents were deceased. 1

  Medical Notes:

Annie Sibbald, daughter of the deceased, of 9 Smithhills Street Paisley gave notice of Hugh's death. 2


Hugh married Annie FEELY, daughter of Robert FEELY and Mary GRIMES, on 4 June 1883 in St Mirin's RC Chapel, Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland. (Annie FEELY was born in 1863 in Ireland 3 and died 2 November 1929 at 6.00 am in 5 Stevenson Street, Paisley, Renfrewshire, Scotland 4.). The cause of her death was cerebral haemorrhage over 4 days and coma for 24 hours.2


  Marriage Notes:

The marriage was celebrated by Fr Michael O'Keiffe, a Catholic clergyman. The witnesses were Francis Quin and Maggie Gordon, who made her X mark. The witnesses to verify the X marks were Catharine Cairnie and Elizabeth Keenan.

Hugh Quin was a bleachfield worker, a bachelor aged 20 years, of 1 Dovesland, Paisley. both his parents were deceased.

Annie Feely also of 1 Dovesland Paisley, was an unmarried woman, bleachfield worker too and also aged 20 years. Her father was deceased.

The groom signed the register, the bride made her X mark.

The marriage was registered on 6 June 1883 at Paisley, Charles Manners being registrar. 5 6
