Lilias married James MURRAY 2nd Earl of Tullibardine (creation of 1628), son of Sir Patrick MURRAY of Redcastle, then 1st Earl of Tullibardine (creation of 1628) and Unknown, 28 September 1667(contract).1 (James MURRAY 2nd Earl of Tullibardine (creation of 1628) was born about 1617 1 and died in 1670 1.)


  Marriage Notes:

"Lilias (Drummond, daughter of John 2nd Earl of Perth), married .... at Charlton, Kent, 3 June 1643, to James, Lord Murray of Gask, eldest son of Patrick, Lord Tullibardine. She died before her husband, who married, secondly, another Lilias Drummond, the daughter of Sir James Drummond of Machany. She survived her husband, and married James, fourth Earl of Perth, the grandson of her first husband's first wife's father."

"He (James Murray) married ....thirdly (contract dated 28 September 1667) Lilias, eldest daughter of Sir James Drummond of Machany, infeft the same day in Lawhill, Kirkhill, and other lands. She also had a charter of Cowhill in Perthshire 12 June 1668.' On the death of Lord Tullibardine she married, as second wife, James, fourth Earl of Perth."

Lilias next married James DRUMMOND 4th Earl of Perth, Lord Chancellor of Scotland, son of James DRUMMOND 3rd Earl of Perth and Anne GORDON, 5 October 1676(contract).2 (James DRUMMOND 4th Earl of Perth, Lord Chancellor of Scotland was born in 1648,3 died on 11 May 1716 in Saint Germain-en -Laye, near Paris, France 3 and was buried in 1716 in Chapel of Scots College, Paris, France 3.)


  Marriage Notes:
