James married Margaret GORDON, daughter of George GORDON 8th of Knockespock (3rd group), Burgess of Aberdeen and Mariori MOIR.1 (Margaret GORDON was baptised on 21 June 1687 in Clatt parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland 2.)


  Marriage Notes:

"Margaret (Gordon) : married James Brebner in Towie. She was the ancestress of the present laird of Knockespock."
