BOYNDIE
Boyndie was a parish in Banffshire until 1975. It is situated on the coast of the Moray Firth and is also known as Inver Boyndie. It was part of the ancient thanedom of Boyne, and part of its boundary consisted of the Burn of Boyne. The main landowners were Ogilvies, earls of Findlater.
Alexander married Jean FORBES of Auchreddie. (Jean FORBES of Auchreddie was born about 1635.)
