General Notes: "In 1681, Sir Patrick Ogilvie of Boyne had a royal warrant to hold two yearly markets in Boyndie, one in the Muir of Whitehills on the 2d Tuesday of May, the other on the Muir of Culfin on 2d Tuesday of October, as well as for Patrick married Anna GRANT, daughter of Lieutenant Colonel James GRANT 7th of Freuchie and Mary STEWART, in 1664.1 2 (Anna GRANT was born about 1647 and died in April 1667 2.) Marriage Notes: "3 Junii, 1664. Seasing Mistres Anna Grant, eldest daughter to ye deceist James Grant of Freughie, and apparent spous to Sr Patrick Ogilvie, yer of Boyne, Knyght, of and upon all and sundrie the lands of Buchragie and maner place yrof, together w ye lands of Dallachie and oyrs." Patrick next married Anna DOUGLAS of Whittinghame family about 1679.2 (Anna DOUGLAS of Whittinghame family was born about 1642.) Marriage Notes: "Sir Patrick married, secondly, about 1679, Anna, daughter of the last Douglas of Whittinghame, widow of Patrick Barclay of Towie." Patrick next married Anne MONTGOMERIE in 1682.2 (Anne MONTGOMERIE was born about 1645.) Marriage Notes: " ... Sir Patrick's third wife. She was Anne Montgomerie, youngest daughter of Hugh, 7th Earl of Eglinton and widow of Sir Andrew Ramsay, Bart, of Waughton." |
