Anna married Lieutenant Colonel Patrick GRANT of Cluniemore and Cluniebeg, Tutor of Grant, son of Sir John GRANT 6th of Freuchie and Mary OGILVY, by 7 December 1660.1 2 (Lieutenant Colonel Patrick GRANT of Cluniemore and Cluniebeg, Tutor of Grant was born about 1618 and died after 21 June 1672 2.)

"Anna (Sutherland), married to Patrick Grant, brother of James Grant of Freuchie. A disposition dated 7 December 1660 was granted to her and her spouse by her uncle James over Cluniemoir, Cluniebeg, and other lands. She was still alive in 1663."

"He (Patrick Grant) married, first, Anna Sutherland, daughter of the Laird of Duffus, by whom he had issue three daughters, the second of whom, named Mary, married Patrick Grant, or Macalpine of Rothiemurchus. From this marriage is descended the present John Peter Grant, Esq., of Rothiemurchus, Sherift-Substitute of Inverness-shire. A disposition, dated 7th December, 1600, was granted to her and her spouse by her uncle, James Sutherland of Kinminitie, over Cluniemoir, Cluniebeg, and other lands. She was still alive in 1663."
