Margaret married Thomas DUNBAR 2nd Earl of Moray, son of John DUNBAR 1st Earl of Moray and Marjorie STEWART, Before 1392(contract).1 (Thomas DUNBAR 2nd Earl of Moray was born about 1370 and died by 19 August 1422 1.)

  Marriage Notes:

"This Earl Thomas married a lady named Margaret, who is named as his wife in the charter of 15 February 1391-92, already cited. What family she was of has not been clearly ascertained. It is not improbable that she was the Margaret, Countess of Moray, who, between 1429 and 1431, received a payment of 50 from the King, and who married Sir John Ogilvy of Lintrathen and Airlie, drawing her terce from the earldom of Moray until about 1471, when she died."

from Scots Peerage 1

Margaret next married Sir John OGILVY of Lintrathen, son of Sir Walter OGILVY of Carcary and Lintrathen and Unknown.1 2 (Sir John OGILVY of Lintrathen was born about 1402 and died by 1 August 1489 5 6.)

  Marriage Notes:

"He (Sir John Ogilvy of Lintrathen) married Margaret, Countess of Moray, who was dead before 1471."

"Footnote 6: It is probable this lady was the widow, not of James Dunbar, Earl of Moray, as suggested in Exch. Rolls, vi. p. cxxxiii, cxxxiv, but of his predecessor, Thomas Dunbar. Neither of the known wives of Earl James was named Margaret."

"He is also said to have married Marion, second daughter of Sir William Seton of Seton ... but there is no authority given for this statement."
