Her age was recorded as 28 years and her birthplace as Coatbridge, Lanarkshire, the main town in Old Monkland parish. Her children were aged from 6 years to 5 months. ¹

Catherine married James MURRAY on 27 January 1870 in Coatbridge, Lanarkshire, Scotland. (James MURRAY was born in 1841 in Airdrie, Lanarkshire, Scotland ¹ and died after 31 December 1896 ¹.)
