Cause of her death was erysipelas over 6 days.2
The 1881 census for Shotts recorded Jane Connor living with her husband and children in 43 Omoa Square, Cleland. Her children, three daughters and one son since her eldest child, Michael was now married, were aged between 20 and 10 years. There was only one room which was windowed in the family's home. Jane was recorded as 39 years old and born in Ireland.
James Duncan MB CM certified the cause of death.
Jane married Michael O'CONNOR, son of Francis O'CONNOR and Bridget BIGGLEY. (Michael O'CONNOR was born in 1828 in Ireland 3 9 10 and died 22 December 1901 at 11.00 pm in Windyedge Farm, West District of Shotts, Lanarkshire, Scotland 4 10.). The cause of his death was senile debility.2
