ROURKE, Patrick

  General Notes:

In 1881 the census for Old Monkland parish recorded the household of Philip Rourke living at 16 Merryston Square. Included in that household was Philip's brother, Patrick Rourke. Patrick, like Philip, had been born in Ireland, and his age was recorded in 1881 as 30 years. He was unmarried and worked as a coal miner. ¹
