VALLELEY, John 1
General Notes: The 1841 census for the Tolbooth parish, Edinburgh recorded two John Valleleys in the household of Margaret Vallely. This one was aged 12 years and was born outside the census county. He was followed by two girls in descending order of age. The other John Valleley came last, as if separate, and his age was higher that the two girls. 1 John married UNKNOWN.2 (UNKNOWN was born about 1578.) Marriage Notes: "The next notice of the name is in 1370 when Alexander de Abercrombie was Sheriff of Perth, and had a wife, Alicia, who was left a widow in 1375." |
