  General Notes:

The " LIST OF THE HERETORS in Strathdon and above Towie who have given Bond to the Commissioners of Justiciary for the peaceable behaviour of their men, and also of the men given up by them" for Aberdeenshire in 1699 contained the entry:
"Wm. Cordiner thr". If 'thr' means 'there', the previous place named was Tornahatnich where John Riach was settled. ³

William married Elspet GLENNY on 5 Aug 1701 in Strathdon Parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland. (Elspet GLENNY was born about 1675.)
