FARR, Letetia

   Another name for Letetia was FARR, Letitia.

  General Notes:

In the 1851 census a young woman of this name, of 16 years of age, unmarried, was living in the household of William and Sarah Quigley at 28 South Coburg Street in the Laurieston district of Glasgow. She was recorded as the grand-daughter of this couple. She worked as a shirtmaker. Her brother William Farr, two years younger than Letitia, was also living there. ³

Letetia married William QUIGLEY on 25 Dec 1854 in Gorbals, Lanarkshire, Scotland.¹ (William QUIGLEY was born about 1835.)

Letetia next married in 1627.²

  Marriage Notes:

"He (Andrew Gray) married .... secondly, in 1627, Mary, said to be widow of Sir John Sydenham, Bart., of Brompton, and to be aged eighty. She died before 1632 at St. Giles-in-the- Fields, the Letters of Administration of her estate being dated 4 and 16 January 1632." (page 287)
