  General Notes:

John Skeoch, Margaret's father, who was present where the birth occurred, gave notice of her birth before the registrar at Glasgow on 3 November 1876.

After the death of Margaret's mother, Margaret's father remarried. A child of this marriage was also named Margaret in 1884, suggesting this Margaret had died by then. ¹

Margaret married.²

"Isabel (Gray), married .... secondly, to Sir Alexander Falconer of Halkerton ; and died 20 October 1589."

Title: Contract of excambion by which Isobel Gray, relict of David Straitauchin of Carmylie, with consent of Alexander Falconer [of Middiltoun], fiar of Halcartoun, now her spouse, renounces in favour of James Straitauchin of Carmylie, her son, her terce of the lands thereof and a tack of the teinds of the said terce and the said James with consent of his curators grants in liferent to the said Isobel and Alexander the lands of Quhythill, Cokhill, Westhill and Half Mostoun in the lordship of Carmylie."
