  General Notes:

Patrick Quigley was the informant of his son, John's birth before the registrar at Anderston, Glasgow on 27 November 1879.

John was the younger of the two children living at 6 Braid Street Glasgow with his family when the 1881 census was taken. Glasgow was where he had been born and his age was recorded as 1 year.

John Quigley was not recorded in his parents' home in the family entry of the 1891 census. 1 2
