General Notes: Thomas Linax was 8 years of age when recorded by the 1841 census for Mochrum. He had been born in Wigtownshire. 1 Thomas married Eliza LYNESS, daughter of Richard LYNESS and Margaret CROMBIE.2 (Eliza LYNESS was born on 19 Apr 1861 in Union Street, Calton, Glasgow, Scotland 3 4 and died in 1872 in Bridgeton, Glasgow, Scotland 5.) Marriage Notes: "2. Thomas (Fraser), to whom his father granted the lands of Sauchok and Denis. His name often occurs in the Privy Council Register. He married Catherine Hill, and had issue. Michael, son of the deceased Thomas Fraser of Savock, occurs in 1628." |
