John next married Catherine VALLELY, daughter of Francis VALLELY and Catharine PURVIS, in Oct 1736 in Glenbucket Parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.¹ (Catherine VALLELY was christened on 12 Mar 1836 in Coalisland RC parish, County Tyrone, Ireland ³ and died on 18 Aug 1876 in Dundee, Angus, Scotland ⁴.). The cause of her death was phthisis.
