Cause of his death was cardiac disease and bronchitis. Another name for George was TWEDELY, George.5 General Notes: In 1861 the census recorded George Twedely aged 7 years living with his family in Beith, Ayrshire where he had been born. He was the second of four sons listed and his father's namesake. Medical Notes: M. S. Anderson MD certified the causes of George's death. George married Bridget ROBERTSON on 16 Jul 1875 in Kilbirnie, Ayrshire, Scotland.1 (Bridget ROBERTSON was born about 1855 in Ireland and died between 1897 and 1917.) Marriage Notes: "Barbara (Forbes), born 31 January 1560-61, married, first (contract 4 and 5 June 1586 ), to Robert Allardyce, younger of Allardyce; secondly, to Alexander Hay of Delgatie; thirdly, to Archibald Douglas of Balneathill, afterwards Sir Archibald Douglas of Keillor, son of Sir William Douglas of Lochleven." |
