General Notes: The 1901 census recorded Margaret as a saleroom assistant. She was 21 years old and had been born in Glasgow. She lived with her parents and maternal grandmother at 179 Dalmarnock Road, Glasgow. 1 Margaret married Mary Ann McGOWAN, daughter of James McGOWAN and Helen O'NEILL, in Saint Nicholas Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland.2 3 (Mary Ann McGOWAN was born about 1855 in Coatbridge, Lanarkshire, Scotland 4 and died 17 May 1934 at 0.15 am in 85 Clydesdale Street, New Stevenson, Lanarkshire, Scotland.).
