Ann Forbes was a widow. No occupation was noted for herself or her daughter who was 18 years old. William, aged 20 years, and Alexander aged 16 years, were both railway clerks. The children were all born in Woolwich, Kent. Ann married.1 Marriage Notes: (at Banchory Ternan in 1602) Ann next married Quartermaster James Staats FORBES of Royal Horse Artillery on 27 May 1822 in St Nicholas Parish, Plumstead, Kent, England.2 3 4 (Quartermaster James Staats FORBES of Royal Horse Artillery was born in 1792-1796 in Scotland,6 died on 1 Jul 1846 in Artillery Barracks, Greenwich, England 9 11 12 and was buried on 7 Jul 1846 in St Mary Magdalene, Woolwich, England 13.).
