   Cause of his death was cardiac dropsy over 2 months.

  General Notes:

In the 1901 census, Peter was recorded as aged 16 years and born in Mossend, Lanarkshire. He was a labourer in an iron works.

When Peter died in 1919, the registrar was informed of his death by his father Michael. It was recorded that Michael was a single man of 32 years who had been a steel worker. ¹

  Medical Notes:

Walter Findlay MB Ch B certified the cause of death.

The informant was Michael, Peter's father, who had been present where the death occurred. He gave notice at Holytown before Gil Hamilton, registrar, on 20 May 1919, and made his X mark.

Peter married Michael McGUNNIGALE Stone mason or farmer on 1 May 1707 in Saint Nicholas Parish, Aberdeen, Scotland.² (Michael McGUNNIGALE Stone mason or farmer was born about 1830 and died before 23 Nov 1880.)
