Peter was a baby of 6 months in 1851 when the census was taken. He was living with his family in Neilston where he had been born.

Peter married Mary LYNCH, daughter of James LYNCH and Isabella KIRKLAND.¹ (Mary LYNCH was born about 1847 in Neilston, Renfrewshire, Scotland.)

  Marriage Notes:

"Elizabeth, who, about 1476, was married to Robert Graham of Fintry, and had issue. From her the present family of Fintry descend."
