"The Earl (Patrick Dunbar)'s only recorded wife and the mother of his sons was a lady named in a charter by her eldest son, 'Cecilia filia Johannis.' No other designation of her has been found. It has been suggested that she was a Fraser, but there is no satisfactory evidence of this."
