COSGROVE, Mary
Mary married Thomas LYNCH, son of James LYNCH and Isabella KIRKLAND, on 28 Apr 1871 in St John's RC Church, Barrhead, Renfrewshire, Scotland.1 (Thomas LYNCH was born about 1845 in Neilston, Renfrewshire, Scotland.) Marriage Notes: John MacGinnis RCC married the couple. The witnesses were Hugh McGlinchy who made his X mark and Mary McGhee. Mary next married.2 Marriage Notes: "Earl Alexander (Lindsay) married Margaret, daughter and heiress of Sir David Dunbar of Cockburn, co. Berwick, and Auchtermonzie, co. Fife, which last barony was granted for the heroic defence of King James I. when he was assassinated in 1437.She was afterwards married to Sir William Wallace of Craigie, and in frequent litigation 1474-96."
