Note: Since her son Francis was born in 1856, it is likely Sarah was much younger than this.

Her husband remarried in 1858, reportedly a 'widower' by then.

In her son John's marriage lines of 1869 her name was given as 'Sally Kelly' - probably misheard by the clerk. She was recorded as deceased then. ⁴

Sally married Agnes QUIGLEY, daughter of Francis QUIGLEY and Agnes MORRISON, on 13 Aug 1741 in Strathdon Parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.¹ (Agnes QUIGLEY was born on 8 Apr 1866 in Lennoxtown Campsie, Stirlingshire, Scotland ^{2 5}.)
