Margaret's birth was notified to the registrar by her father James Quigley. He gave notice before the registrar, R. C. Hamilton, at Glasgow on 10 July 1858. ²

Margaret married Arthur LYNESS, son of Richard LYNESS and Mary DILLON, on 5 Sep 1686 in Strathdon Parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.^{3 4} (Arthur LYNESS was born about 1903 and died 26 April 1916 at 4.30 am in 180 Thomson Street, Glasgow, Scotland ⁵.). The cause of his death was cardiac valvular disease lasting 4 months.
