Margaret Tweedly was recorded in 1881 by the census for Barony parish Glasgow living at 13 Bishop Street with her husband James, her three children and one boarder, Margaret McCowie, a domestic servantwho was unmarried, aged 30 years, and born in Coatbridge. Margaret Tweedly's birthplace was Springburn and she was recorded as 33 years of age. She was a millworker. ⁴

Margaret married James QUIGLEY, son of Hugh QUIGLEY and Mary McCARDLE, on 20 Dec 1865 in Anderston, Glasgow, Scotland.¹ (James QUIGLEY was born in 1831 in County Monaghan, Ireland ¹ and died 3 September 1886 at 1.00 am in 87 North Woodside Road, Glasgow, Scotland.). The cause of his death was probably pneumonia.

Margaret next married Thomas GREENSHIELDS.² (Thomas GREENSHIELDS was born about 1847.)
