Other names for Mary were QUIGLEY, Mary 2 and TINEY, Mary.3 Mary married Joseph QUIGLY, son of John QUIGLEY and Margaret O'DONNELL. (Joseph QUIGLY was born about 1790 in County Derry, Ireland, died 30 September 1855 at 2.15 am in Split Close, New Parish, Greenock, Renfrewshire, Scotland 4 and was buried in Greenock Cemetery, Renfrewshire, Scotland.). The cause of his death was paralysis of 8 months duration. Mary next married William STRACHAN farmer in Robslaw.1 (William STRACHAN farmer in Robslaw was born about 1685.) Marriage Notes: "The tenth Earl of Angus married between April and June 1585 (contract dated 12 April) Elizabeth, eldest daughter of Laurence, fourth Lord Oliphant, her tocher being 8000 merks Scots .... By her the Earl had three sons and three daughters" Mary next married before 1619.1 Marriage Notes: "The tenth Earl of Angus married .... Elizabeth, eldest daughter of Laurence, fourth Lord Oliphant .... She survived the Earl and married, secondly, before 1619, James Hamilton." |
