Mariorie next married Peter HARDIE of Dunkeld, Weaver and Musician, son of Richard HARDIE and Unknown, in 1550.^{1 2} (Peter HARDIE of Dunkeld, Weaver and Musician was born in 1777 in Perthshire, Scotland, died 13 August 1862 at 10.30 pm in Balledmund, Dowally Parish, Perthshire, Scotland and was buried in 1862 in Dowally Churchyard, Perthshire, Scotland ⁴.). The cause of his death was supposed paralysis.

"Baird had got into the governing swim more or less, doing so perhaps through his marriage in 1550 with Elizabeth Keith, daughter of Gilbert Keith of Troup, who was the son of the Earl Marischal. Twelve years later Elizabeth's cousin, Lady Agnes Keith, married, as noted, the Regent Moray. George Baird had five sons."
