  General Notes:

The 1851 census for Glenbucket parish recorded Ann Brodie living with her family in Drumnagarrow. Her age was noted as 6 years and her birthplace as Glenbucket. ²

Ann married Jean BRODIE, daughter of James BRODY Farmer in Drumnagarrow and Barbara MURDOCH.¹ (Jean BRODIE was born on 29 Dec 1846, christened on 19 Jan 1847 in Glenbucket Parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland and died on 24 Mar 1905 in Huntly parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland ³.)

"15th June, 1657. - Sasine to Alexander Forbes, appearand air to Thomas Forbes of Meikle Auchreddie, and Christian Irvine, his spouse, on Auchmaleidie."

"Alexander, 3rd of Auchredie, married Christian Irvine of Brucklay, by whom he had George, died without heirs, and two daughters, of whom Christian, the younger, married Mr. John Webster, minister of New Deer. Marjory, married Alex. Irvine of Drum in 1688. The marriage was considered irregular, but upheld by the Privy Council ; the only child died, so the question of inheritance did not arise."
