Ann married Annie McGONAGLE, daughter of Michael McGONAGLE and Mary McGONAGLE MS UNKNOWN.1 (Annie McGONAGLE was born about 1886 in Rutherglen, Lanarkshire, Scotland 3.) Marriage Notes: "Robert married Catherine Strachan (sometimes called Helen ), daughter to Alexander Strachan of Thornton, from whom his brother had acquired the estate of Caldhame. The time when he succeeded his brother is uncertain. His wife is first mentioned December 18th, 1618, on which day he 'infeoffed her in life-rent in thirty-four acres of outfield land, of the lands of Caldhame.' " Ann next married Daniel QUIGLEY, son of John QUIGLEY and Jane RAMSAY, on 18 Jun 1868 in Central District, Glasgow, Scotland. (Daniel QUIGLEY was born about 1815 in County Donegal, Ireland and died in 1875 in 49 Gallowgate, Glasgow, Scotland 4.). The cause of his death was chronic bronchitis & cardiac affection. |
