CURRAN, Sarah
Sarah married Mary HANNIGAN, daughter of William HANNAGIN and Isabella McKENNA.1 2 (Mary HANNIGAN was born on 9 Mar 1846 in Barrhead, Renfrewshire, Glasgow 3, christened in St John's RC Church, Barrhead, Renfrewshire, Scotland 3 and died 17 December 1909 at 2.10 pm in 3 Wardlaw Drive, Rutherglen, Glasgow, Scotland.) Marriage Notes: "Sir Adam More, who, 'in his father's auld age,' had the management of all his affairs, both private and public, considerably enlarged and improved the estate. He married, in his younger years, Janet Mure, heiress of Polkellie, granddaughter of Ranald More, and thus restored that estate to the family. By this marriage he had two sons, Sir Adam, his successor, and Andrew, and a daughter, Elizabeth, married in 1348, to Robert, the high steward, afterwards King Robert II. Sarah next married Patrick McKENNA on 6 Sep 1870 in High Church, Glasgow, Scotland. (Patrick McKENNA was born about 1850.) |
