  General Notes:

Winifred Green's birth certificate records that she was the daughter of Margaret Green,
a restaurant waitress, whose domicile was 12 Murray Street Maryhill. Margaret was not married at the time. Winfred's birth was in New City Road, in the Milton district of Glasgow. the birth took place on the last day of December 1911, and was registered by the mother on 12 January 1912.

Winifred Green, who had been present where her (grand)mother died, gave notice of her death before the registrar at Glasgow on 9 January 1936.

Winifred Green died in 1966, at the recorded age of 54 years, married to Gilbert Anderson. Her mother was recorded as "Margaret Green, afterwards Nardini (deceased)". No father's name was noted. ^{3 4 5}

Winifred married Gilbert MacDonald ANDERSON, son of William Graham ANDERSON and Janet MACDONALD. (Gilbert MacDonald ANDERSON was born about 1912 and died after 17 Dec 1966 ⁵.)

Winifred next married James STRACHAN, son of Alexander STRACHAN Merchant and Postmaster in Banff and Margaret ROBERTSON, on 6 Dec 1739 in Oyne Parish, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.^{1 2} (James STRACHAN was christened on 8 Nov 1726 in Banff Parish, Banffshire, Scotland.)
