KNOWLES, Hannah ²

   Other names for Hannah were KNOWLES, Hana and O'HARA, Hannah.²

Hannah married Michael McGONNIGAL, son of Michael McGONAGLE and Rose DOHERTY, about 1654.¹ (Michael McGONNIGAL was born about 1815 ³ and died on 10 Feb 1875 in Brownbank, Baillieston, Lanarkshire, Scotland ³.). The cause of his death was injuries received at a coal pit, lived 4 hours.

  Marriage Notes:

"Patrick Gordon, 9th of Hallhead was the son of George Gordon, 8th of Hallhead. He married Margaret Burnett, daughter of Alexander Burnett and Jane Arbuthnott, circa 1654. He died in 1683."

III. Rev. Patrick, whose only child, Jane, married John Calder (issue extinct).

IV. Charles, d. s. p. He mortified one thousand merks Scots for the poor of Cushnie, 1740.
