   Cause of his death was choleraic diarrhoea over 8 days.

James Donaldson was the informant of the birth of his son Hugh before the registrar at Irvine on 14 January 1873.

Hugh died when he was 8 months old. ⁴

Robert Wallace MB certified the cause of death.

James Donaldson, the child's father, gave notice of his death at Stevenston on 4 September 1873.

Hugh married Helen QUEEN, daughter of Owen QUIN and Catherine DORIS.¹ (Helen QUEEN was born on 5 Sep 1869 in Bothwell Parish, Lanarkshire, Scotland ⁵.)
