"Patrick Gordon of Badenscoth married the Laird of Blackfoord's daughter Gordon, and after her death married the Laird of Bamffs daughter Ogilvy with whom he begat Three sons and two daughters, viz, Geo : Gordon of Badenscoth, James Gordon of Barns, and John Gordon Burgess in Aberdeen; one daughter married the Laird of Knockespack Gordon, of whom is come the present Laird of Glenbuicket, another married the Tutor of Glenbuicket John Gordon."

The cause of his death was softening of the brain over 2 years and paralysis.
